About this place

Start climbing at 5:00 AM to reach the summit temple before sunrise, and bring a flashlight as the stone steps can be slippery in the dark. Local monks often chant morning prayers during sunrise, creating an incredibly spiritual atmosphere. The mountain is also home to thousands of bats that emerge at dusk if you decide to stay overnight at the temple guesthouse.
