The park closes completely during monsoon season (May-October), making it truly seasonal. Book the basic bungalows at Ao Pante Malaka well in advance through the National Park website. Bring insect repellent and a headlamp - the island has limited electricity and the jungle comes alive at night with wildlife sounds.
