About this place
This unique farm-to-table experience lets visitors climb trees to collect red ant eggs (kai mod daeng) which are then prepared into salads and curries. The best time to visit is early morning during dry season (November-March) when ants are most active. Wear long sleeves and closed shoes - the owner provides gloves and teaches proper harvesting techniques before the cooking demonstration.
