Phi Phi Don (the inhabited island) and Phi Phi Leh (home to Maya Bay, famous from The Beach) form one of Thailand's most spectacular island groups. After years of closure for environmental recovery, Maya Bay reopened with strict visitor limits — arrive early with a tour or by longtail. The viewpoint on Phi Phi Don requires a steep 20-minute climb but rewards with one of Thailand's most iconic panoramas. Monkey Beach, Bamboo Island, and the Bida Nok/Nai dive sites round out the experience. The island has no roads — everything is walkable, and that pedestrian-only atmosphere is part of the charm.

Maya Bay Booking
Maya Bay allows limited visitors per day. Book through the DNP (Department of National Parks) app or website in advance. Morning slots (7-10am) have the calmest water and best light. Afternoon slots are less crowded. Entry is 400 THB for foreigners.
