The viewpoint requires a 2-hour hike starting before dawn for sunrise or late afternoon for sunset. Camping is allowed and highly recommended - rent gear from villages at the base. During cool season (Nov-Feb), temperatures drop to near freezing, so pack warm layers and hot drinks.
