Visit early morning (6-8 AM) for the most dramatic eruptions when temperature differences are greatest, and bring a wide-angle lens to capture the full height. Local farmers use the surrounding mineral-rich soil for growing organic vegetables, which you can purchase at nearby roadside stalls.
