The temple's unique seven-spired chedi represents the seven weeks Buddha spent in meditation after enlightenment. Built by King Tilokaraj, it features beautiful stucco celestial figures on the main chedi that are masterpieces of Lanna art. The temple is less crowded than others, making it perfect for quiet contemplation. Look for the ancient boundary stones and the peaceful garden areas behind the main structures.
