The temple is still home to practicing hermit monks who maintain the ancient tradition of cliff-dwelling meditation - visitors can participate in evening meditation sessions (7 PM daily) in the original cave chambers. Access to the highest hermit caves requires rock climbing skills, but local monks provide basic instruction. The caves stay naturally cool year-round, making this an ideal retreat during hot season.
