Still functioning as an active temple, this site combines historical significance with living Buddhist practice. The main attraction is the large chedi that you can climb for panoramic views of Ayutthaya, and the rows of Buddha statues in saffron robes create a striking visual display. Unlike other ruins, this temple maintains traditional ceremonies and you might witness monks' daily prayers. Visit during morning alms giving (around 6-7 AM) for an authentic cultural experience.
