Kaeng Krachan Forest Complex
About

Covering over 4,800 square kilometers across Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan provinces, it protects one of the largest remaining areas of tropical rainforest in mainland Southeast Asia. The park is renowned for its spectacular early-morning sea of mist views from Panoen Thung camp, world-class birdwatching (over 400 species), and populations of wild elephants, leopards, and the critically endangered Siamese crocodile.
